Cheating A Bit!

6:59 pm

I forced myself to do some work sewing at the weekend, but managed to squeeze in a couple of things for the baby too!
I bought some wool ages ago,and had a go at felting it myself with the intention of making wool wraps for my ds,who is now completely potty trained!
I wasn't altogether happy with the felting,it's a bit bobbly, kinda like egg boxes...if that makes sense?
So the wool has been sat in (one of) my stash cupboards for about a year, and I thought it was high time I sewed it up.
I decided as I'm expecting a summer baby to make matching baby vests, and then the wrap and vest can be worn together as an outfit.
The wraps are two layers of wool, serged together.Pale green outside, yellow inside. The vests are simply store bought and embroidered.
I'm not 100% happy with this project, but they are quite cute, and made a change from sewing nappy after nappy for a wholesale order!

Don't be shy, say hello!
