This is a birthday pressie for my friend,Jayne. I gave her a voucher for her birthday last month,valid for one hand made bag,and this is the pattern she chose,and the fabrics too.
The outside is a japanese cotton print,and the lining is aubergine silk dupion. I used a cotton canvas to give the bag some stability. I hope she'll be happy with the results,I'll find out later today when we take our youngest children for a picnic in this lovely sunshine.
