Catch Up

This little monkey is teething, having a growth spurt, and generally just rather grumpy. Of course I think if only he was breastfeeding he'd be so much happier, and that sets me off crying with him!

In between the grumps, I managed to run up a few pairs of woolly bootees this weekend.

All made with felted sweaters.

Don't be shy, say hello!

  5. Just wondering if you are making these to sell? I am having my rainbow baby sometime in Jan/Feb . . . which is winter in the USA and sure could use some of those!

Do you have a pattern that you could share ~ if your not selling any? I know my way around a sewing machine:)

  7. OK, been asked by several people for the pattern for these bootees, they are both really simple.
The longer ones are adapted from a pattern in a vintage sewing book, and the little slippers are my own pattern, so if I get time (I'll try) I'll add a little tute here this weekend. :0)

    The long booties are fab.
Have you tried an amber necklace for teething? My sister swears they work.

  9. we swore by our amber necklaces for Phoebe, she only took it off recently when she had her accident. I still wear mine. Beautiful and beneficial too.
