My friend Cybele has tagged me. I've never been tagged before,so here goes:

What are the last 3 things you purchased?

12 metres of silk dupion
12 reels of gutermanns sewing thread
2 silver pendants from My Aphrodite on Etsy, one for me and one for a friend.

What are the last three songs you downloaded?

I've never downloaded any music. I don't really listen to music much,I do listen to the radio, but usually just womans Hour on Radio 4

What are the three best places you visited?

Now the above pic will make sense. One of my fave ever places to visit is Penmon Point on Anglesey. My mother in law lives on Anglesey,so we do get to visit Penmon a couple of times a year. (I know I should visit Grandma more often,I'm a bad daughter in law hanging my head in shame!)
Penmon is a calm and beautiful place to visit. I always feel a sense of stillness when I'm there.

Next is Sennen Cove in Cornwall. The first time we visited,it was October and the sun was starting to fade in the winter sky,( though many people were still in their cossies and surfing gear on the beach) we bought chips and sat in our car facing out to sea watching dophins swim as the sun went down while we ate our chips! It was magical.
We've been back a couple of times since, and a little campsite up the road has become our fave place to stay.

My third choice would have to be Amsterdam. I first visted Amsterdam as a student, and fell in love with the city immediately. We arrived after a looong coach journey to stay in our little hotel right in the heart of the city at around 10 in the evening. The best time to arrive. The streets were buzzing with life.
Later I visited with Woody several times,we camped on a hippy site in the Northern part of the city.
Then we lived just outside Amsterdam in Alsmeer while India was small, and I often would get the bus into the City and wander around the shops and backstreets with India.

(If I could have a fourth choice it would be Haarlem in the Netherlands, infact it's a close run thing between Haarlem and Amsterdam)

What are your three favourite movies?

Breakfast at Tiffanys
Bringing Up Baby
Amelie

What three things can you not live without? (Other than family and friends)

Creativity. I think life would be unbearable without it.
Good food,I love food,I love to sit with friends and family and eat. (and drink ! )
Sunshine,it doesn't have to be hot and sunny, just sunny.

What would be your three wishes?

Oooh that's hard...

I'd wish that Woody and I will always be happy together, right into our very old age.
I'd wish for all my children to be happy and successful at whatever they want to do in life
I'd wish...hmmm,can't really think of another....

What are three things you haven’t done YET?

Overcome my fear of driving
Made a quilt
knitted a whole pair of socks

What three celebrities do you want to hang out with most?

I can't say I've ever wanted to hang out with any celebrities, but I do think Stephen Fry would be lovely to have over for afternoon tea. I wouldn't mind going shopping with Gok Wan, (so long as he didn't ask me to go on national tv in my undies! ), and I'd love a night down the pub with Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt .

Name three things that freak you out.

Driving
The dark
Butterflies

What are your three favourite dishes?

Pizza
Risotto
Gnocci

Name three things you are good at.

List making
Being early
Painting a straight line

What are three things you are currently coveting?

A Nissan Figaro (yes,even though I dont drive )
A cellar conversion so I could have a mini fabric printing studio.
A garden free from slugs!

Eeek, now I have to pass this along,so here goes,in no particular order Creative Mother, Musings of a mother of three, and Sewing as Therapy.

Don't be shy, say hello!
