Wave of light
7:43 am October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day across the world. We would like to invite you to take part in the global 'Wave of Light'. Simply light a candle at 7pm and leave it burning for at least 1 hour to join us in remembering all babies that have died during pregnancy, at, during or after birth.
This can be done individually or in a group, at home or in a communal space. Wherever you do this, you will be joining a global wave of light in memory of all the babies who lit up our lives for such a short time.

It is 7.44pm here so the candles are burning bright. One is certainly for Florence.

ReplyDeleteJeanette, it's been so long since we last spoke and I really must come and pay you a visit soon. I read your blog quite often and it's fab, cannot believe how big Ernest is getting and your way with words when you speak about Florence is spine tingling.
ReplyDeleteI will be lighting a candle for Oliver and Florence tonight and I still need to get my photos printed from Xmas when I had the baby angel tree and Florence's heart tag was on there.
Wishing you a peaceful evening, Carrie xxxxxxxxxxx
Oh Carrie, I was thinking of you just the other day! I would love to see you and Kitty sometime soon.
ReplyDeleteI've just placed all my candles in the garden ready to light, and Oliver will be one of the babies I will be lighting them for.
Much love to you and yours. x
My candle is lit for Florence. xx
ReplyDeleteHi, I love to hear from readers, hate to think I'm talking to myself here, so don't be shy say hello!
