fifty two weeks of happy week nine

This week, with a help from my friend Mary I finally started to learn to crochet. I've a long way to go before I'll be able to do anything like follow a pattern, but so far I'm enjoying learning and am starting with a simple blanket.
I also bought my first proper grown up handbag this week...it feels proper cos it came with a dust cover and everything...proper grown up stuff!
I love it, it's vegan, and it's big enough to cart all my essentials, plus my camera.
I'm still loving my blue/green hair, as anyone on facebook will already know because I've been spamming pics like crazy.
Finally, I just have to include this photo of Ernest, it just makes me grin.

Oh the elusive crochet, I still cant master it. One of the nursery Mum's has offered to go for coffee after we drop the kids off and she will show me how to crochet, she may have bitten off more than she can chew haha.
