Very simple baby cardy

Very simple baby cardy, originally uploaded by indiaeden.

I used a Debbie Bliss pattern to knit this cardy, but now it's finished I'm really not sure if I like it. I loved the colour when I started out, but I think it's the garter stitch I don't like, and mostly the way my rubbish knitting looks in garter stitch I guess.
Aww well, I'm sure with a cute baby inside it, it'll look a lot better.

Don't be shy, say hello!

Put it in the washing machine once after knitting - the irregular stitches will adapt and it'll look a lot smoother (sorry for my English, hope you understand ;-)
    I like it!

Thx for the tutorial on the mama pads - seems I'll be needing some about 10 months from now :-)

  2. It's a lovely cardigan. Might try that myself later think I have the book it's in. How small does it come up.....expecting an 8lb ish bump?
Oh and loving your blog btw, only just discovered it ;-)

  3. Daria! Is that an announcement???
Or have I missed something? Thanks for the tip!

    Becks, I'm expecting a 10-11lbs bump, and hoping this will fit...but I didn't use the suggested yarn...;0)
