Healthy hearts

2:09 pm

We took the children to the hospital this morning for a health check, specifically to check their hearts. Firstly we thought we might not be able to see the doctor we know, as she was called urgently to A&E, which sent a shiver down my spine, and almost reduced me to tears on the spot.(As did seeing the doctor who tried to resuscitate Florence at the very end)
She came back in time to see us though, and I'm relieved to report that all four of the children are healthy with good beating hearts.
The doctor told us she'd seen the coroner on her way to see us, but there was still no news about the post mortem. No surprises there then.

Oh yes, and something frivolous but made me smile yesterday was this...that's the wedding dress I made for Heather featured in the main pic.(Thanks Caroline for pointing this out to me.)

Don't be shy, say hello!

  4. That dress is so beautiful, glad it's getting extra coverage! I would love something similar for a wedding I'm attending in Feb. You inspired me with the vintage look!

So glad the kids have been a good result, must be such a relief.
